Participatory Art

We advocate for the idea of art as a tool for individual and collective development, and more broadly, participatory artistic practices as vectors of social transformation.

Participatory art at Les Têtes de l’Art follows the same spirit since its creation in 1996: a co-construction with partner organizations and artistic contributors, putting the participants at the center of each project.

Projects are multidisciplinary and are carried out in partnership with schools, hospitals, social centers, etc.

STEP 1

The project is designed based on the desired objective.

STEP 2

We co-create the project with the partner organization and the artists.

STEP 3

We ensure production, coordination, and logistics until the final presentation.

Where do our projects take place?

The Participatory Art department geographically operates throughout the city of Marseille, the department, and even the region.

It is especially committed to developing local initiatives in its established area, the 3rd arrondissement of Marseille, in collaboration with social, cultural, and economic stakeholders in the neighborhoods of Belle de Mai and Saint-Mauront.
