International
cooperation
Building on its experiences in participatory art and artists’ support, the association has gradually expanded its presence internationally.
The association is involved in various international networks and collaborates in Europe and the Mediterranean to carry out projects related to topics such as the environment, citizenship, and participatory art practices.
What topics do our projects focus on?
Education & Youth
The Mediterranean Youth Council
The MYC brings together young people from the Mediterranean, aged from 18 to 30, who work together to create a representation of youth in the Mediterranean. Coordinated by Les Têtes de l’Art, with the support of several partners, it gathers to address shared issues in the Mediterranean region and develops concrete proposals for the environment, equal opportunities, and solidarity mobility.
Enacting, Generating Social Impact Through Cinema (2021-2023)
The ENACTING project supports European citizens in creating a social documentary (through online training modules). It was carried out in the cities of Athens, Dresden, Florence, Larissa, and Marseille.
Art & culture
ENGAGE
(2023-2024)
The project is carried out in collaboration with German, Italian, and Spanish partners. Building on the expertise and specific contexts of each partner, the project aims to test participatory art tools and gather feedback from participants.
Wall Dialogue Resistance
(2022-2023)
The project uses the image of the wall to carry out a creative and participatory process, a creative way to connect with a territory and its inhabitants. _
Co-funded by the European Union as part of the Creative Europe program, with Teatro di Sardegna, the Collectif WRONG TIME, and the IL CANTIERE company.
INPACT: Innovative
Partnership for Artistic
and Cultural Transition
(2020-2022)
The project started from a simple observation: the artistic and cultural sector in Europe is impacted by socio-economic, environmental, and democratic changes and was the first to be weakened by the health crisis.
In response to these transitions, Les Têtes de l’Art, in co-creation with 6 European partners, created a website translated into 8 languages, housing tools that empower artists and cultural organizations to become self-sufficient and develop their activities.
Citoyenneté
Edu-City
(2022-2024)
Edu-City is a project of knowledge and practice exchange among peers, involving 5 European partner organizations from Palermo, Sofia, Berlin, Seville, and Marseille. These organizations all have expertise and practical experience in education, urban planning, social work, participatory practice, art, and design in their respective countries.
The five project partners have developed an Edu-City manual aimed at practitioners, educators, and active citizens involved in social inclusion processes.
